Meaning 1: to regain consciousness. After my friend had fainted during the birth of his son, he soon came round but he had a lump on his head from when he fell and he was a little embarrassed.
Meaning 2: To go to a friend's house. I'm having barbecue and drinks in my garden this afternoon and I just called my best friend Jimmy and told him, ‘Come round, I'm having a barbecue, but make sure you bring some beers this time.’ As last time he drank all mine!
