Script (guión): Phrasal verbs, ‘make out’ which has three meanings.
Meaning 1: to see, hear or understand something with difficulty. I was stranded on a desert island for a couple of months last year, long story. Anyway, one morning I saw something on the horizon which I thought at first was a shark but it turned out to be a cruise ship. Lucky hey.
Meaning 2: To write a check. When the cruise ship collected me I didn't have any money so I made out a check.
Meaning 3: To kiss someone passionately. This is used more in America. You may hear in US teen dramas ‘Did you make out with him? Ah, I can't believe it!’.
