Script (guión): Phrasal verbs, ‘pick up’ which has two meanings.
Meaning one: is to give someone a lift in a car. Last week I picked up a hitchhiker in my car who turned out to be a little crazy. He kept on talking about how the aliens were coming.
Meaning two: To take something up from the floor. When I take my dog out for a walk I have to take two plastic bags with me for when he goes to the toilet in the street and I have to pick it up. Last night he went three times and I had to use one of my socks.
