Script (guión): Phrasal verbs, ‘run out of’ which means to use all of something and have none left.
A few years ago, the vicar came round to our house for a cup of tea with my mother and I was in charge of making tea, however we'd run out of milk. I said to my mother, ‘We haven't got any milk left.’
She said, ‘Well, use some cream.’
I said, ‘We've run out of cream.’
She said, ‘Try just sprinkling a little bit of cheese in there, cottage cheese.’
I was like, ‘We've run out of cottage cheese.’
She said, ‘Well, just put a bit of white paint in there, he'll never know.’
So, I put a bit of paint in and, yeah, he didn't even notice.
