Script (guión): Phrasal verbs, ‘tear up’, which means to completely destroy something by tearing it.
This is another true story from my school days. I was sat in the class one day next to my best friend and he was really annoying me by poking me with his ruler on my knuckles. Anyway, I suddenly went to hit him, but not meaning to, I punched him in the face, which was an accident. Anyway, he stood still in shock, and then the next thing, he suddenly just started ripping my book up to shreds, he tore up, he tore the whole book up and I had to get a new book from the teacher.
