GRAMATICA INGLES comparativos superlativos


Uso: Para comparar a dos personas o cosas.

EQUALITY


FORMA

AFIRMATIVO: (AS + ADJECTIVO +AS)
Bob is as tall as Alan

NEGATIVO: (NOT AS + ADJECTIVO + AS)


COMPARATIVOS


FORMA: (FORMA COMPARATIVA DEL ADJECTIVO + THAN)
John is older than Alan
Betty is more beautiful than Lisa

NOTA

La mayoria de los adjectives requieren -er:
Long/longer, old/older, tall/taller

Los adjectives que terminan en -e requieren un r
Nice/nicer, late/later
En los adjectives que terminan en y,
Cambia la -y por una i:
Happy/happier, easy/easier

En la mayoria de los adjectives de dos o más sílabas el comparitivo de forma usando la palabra ‘more’
Intelligent - more intelligent
Beautiful - more beautiful

Los adjectivos ‘good’ y ‘bad’ tienen una forma comparativa irregular:
Good - better


SUPERLATIVOS


FORMA: (FORMA SUPERLATIVA DE LOS ADJETIVOS)
John is the tallest man in the world.
They are the most beautiful trousers in the shop.

La mayoria de los adjectivos requieren -est
Long/longest, old/oldest

Los adjectivos que terminan en -e requieren -st
Nice/nicest, late/latest

En los adjectivos que terminan en y, cambia la -y por una i:
Happy/happiest, easy/easiest

Los adjectivos largos forman el superlativo con la palabra ‘most’
Intelligent - most intelligent
Beautiful - most beautiful

Los adjectivos ‘good’ y ‘bad’ tienen una forma superlativa irregular:
