USO: El futuro se usa para hablar de acciones y estados en el futuro.

EJEMPLOS

‘What time are you leaving for the airport?’
‘Well, my plane leaves at 14.00, so I'll leave half an hour before that. You're going to give me a ride, aren't you?’

Se pueden usar variar formas del verbo para hablar del futuro. Cuatro de las mas importantes son:

WILL

EJEMPLO:

‘I will go dancing later on.’

GOING TO

EJEMPLO:

‘It's going to stop in a while.’

PRESENTE CONTINUO

EJEMPLO:

‘We're spending Easter in Malta.’

PRESENTE SIMPLE

EJEMPLO:

The next flight for Ibiza leaves at 14.00.

Cada forma tiene un significado ligeramente diferente, pero las diferencias son a menudo muy pequeñas.
