Script (guión): Idioms, ‘all bark no bite’. When someone talks tough but really isn't they are all bark no bite. Like a dog, the way the dog barks. So, for example, this guy Phil is in a garage talking to his colleagues, showing off about how he had a bit of a fight last night, beat up five guys with just his bare knuckles. He's talking, saying, ‘Oh yeah, I just hit one guy like this, and the other one I had him like this.’
Then a guy turns up at the garage looking for him, as he owes him money, and all of a sudden Phil runs and hides behind a car, ‘Oh don't let him touch me!’
Then we would say, ‘He is all bark, but no bite.’
