Script (guión): Idioms, ‘bee in your bonnet’. If someone has a strange idea that is harped on or an obsession, then we may say, ‘They have a bee in their bonnet.’
For example, if my grandma looks very unhappy having just ranted to my mother, I may ask, ‘What's wrong with her?’.
To which she may reply, ‘Oh she's got a bee in her bonnet about the neighbuors' fence’. The neighbours put a new fence and she thinks it's on her side of the garden. She said she's going to knock it down when they are on holiday.
