Script (guión): Idioms, ‘the bee's knees’. If something or someone is outstanding or the best, we would say it's the bees knees. For example, I may ask Susie's mother what her new boyfriend is like, to which she replies, ‘Susie thinks he's the bee's knees.’
‘And what do you think?’ I ask.
‘I think he's great, I think he is the cat's whiskers.‘
The cat's whiskers has the same meaning as the bee's knees.
