Script (guión): Idioms, ‘red letter day’. If you have a red letter day you have a day when you have lots of luck or something special happens to you. Last Tuesday I woke up and the sun was shining. I left the house to work, walked past the florist and saw the beautiful owner there, Rebecca. She smiled at me so I went over and asked her if she would like to go out for a drink sometime. She said she'd love to. I then carried on to work and on my desk when I arrived at work was a letter. I opened it up and it said that they were doubling my salary and I'd been voted employee of the month. It was getting good. Anyway I had a coffee and just checked the lottery numbers and it turned out I had won five million on the lottery as well. So I told my boss I was leaving. I went and bought a new car on the way home. I stopped off at home and filled the bath full of champagne and then gave the florist a ring to see if she if she wanted to come round. That was my red letter day.
