Script (guión): Idioms, ‘show your true colours’ which means, to reveal yourself as you really are. We were interviewing a babysitter yesterday, it was a lady called Jane. She came round to the house and every question I asked she answered perfectly. She was very polite, very sweet, very kind natured. However, all of a sudden the dog came in and spilt a drink and some of it went on her shoe. Anyway at this point she showed her true colours. She lost her temper, went completely mad and was swearing like a trooper at the dog. So, of course, she didn't get the job.
